energySMART® GLASS

The glass in a window is referred to as an Insulating Glass (IG) unit. A spacer and sealant hold panes of glass together, creating an insulating air space. The spacer and sealant also block temperature transfer. Polaris® offers you IG unit choices to deflect damaging ultra violet rays, block the cold and hold in warmth.

EnergySMART® glass is standard in every DynaTech® window. Upgrade your glass for even greater protection. EnergySMART Supreme and Ultimate Plus high-performance glass options have a greater resistance to temperature transfer and also reduce ultraviolet light transmission. Both are ENERGYSTAR® qualified
